We have installed sound in 100s of venues over the last 20 years all over South Africa, as well as Zimbabwe and Mauritius. A key focus of ours is the hospitality industry, but also have numerous church, school and club clients.
The relationship with some of our key clients goes back over 20 years. In the last few years we have also completed a lot of acoustic installations – our solutions are all customized to the needs of the venue. We are based in Cape Town, but are happy to travel too. Icognito
One of Cape Towns top bars hidden in the heart of Constantia at the Alphen. A customised acoustic ceiling paired with QSC Acoustic Design speakers, Audac BASO subs and QSC CXD amplifiers offers an excellent sounding evening out! Capable of handling DJs and live bands for a vibey night out.
Lily's
An all-day eatery that serves up inventive contemporary comfort food in a relaxed seaside setting that’s as friendly as it is fashion-forward. Equipped with Bose Freespace 3 subs and satellites if offers great background sound in a discrete package
Tiger's Milk - KZN
This restaurant is two stories with 2 activation areas for DJs / live acts. We used the QSC MP series processors and MP-A80 amps driving QSC Acoustic Design S6 tops and Audac Baso12 subs. The new MP-M Manage app allows management to easily and simply control volumes from their tablet or phones.
Common Ground
The Common Group Church Rondebosch campus is equipped with QSC Acoustic Performance speakers and subs, powered by CXD amplifiers and fed from a Midas console. Acoustic consulting work on the roof and walls construction assisted in excellent internal acoustics and minimal sound impact on the neighbors.
Rustenberg Girls High
The RGHS venue required extensive custom made acoustic panels to be installed. EV ETX speakers were added for the main PA and EV EVID4.2 used under the balcony and annex. QSC MP series processing and amps were perfect to tune the hall with the expertise of Andre Nieuwstadt, who consulted on acoustics and system design. The addition of a Allen and Heath digital stage box was a great addition to the infrastructure. We also assisted the school with their live streaming setup too with the addition of BMD ATEM Mini.
Harbour House
Harbour House at the V&A Waterfront Cape Town has just undergone a full revamp including a new sound system. We used a combination of Audac Ateo2 satellites with Celo8s subs, as well as Sonance ceiling speakers to achieve an excellent background music system. It was the first time we have used the Xilica Solaro audio processor and was very impressed with the quality and the level of customisation of the UCI interface for the client.
The Marley
We completed the full sound and audio-visual installation at the Marly Hotel in Camps Bay. This world class boutique hotel now has another whole floor of rooms, a spa, conference room and a rooftop bar – Baptiste. The views are stunning of both ocean and mountains. The sound on the rooftop complements this beauty! It is the perfect spot for a sunset cocktail. QSC MP series processing and amps power all the audio. Audac ceiling speakers were used in all the hotel common spaces. Marshall amplifiers are in each room.
Chinchilla
Chinchilla is an exclusive rooftop venue and the first of its kind in Camps Bay. QSC Acoustic Design speakers and subs coupled with QSC CXD amplifiers and Q-SYS Core processing offers world class sound. The system offers the control needed to keep both the DJs and the hotel guests happy!
La Parada
We installed the sound for the La Parada in uMhlanga. This three level venue has a main restaurant, private lounge area and roof top zone. Using QSC MP Series amps and processing with QSC AD series tops in the upper levels and Audac Ateo6 in the main restaurant we were able to achieve great audio quality. With DJ inputs on each level and multiple playlist sources and 7 output zones the QSC MP-M processors allowed us to bring all together with a simple app to control it all. Yamaha PX8 amps are driving the 7 subs in the venue.
